Karnataka minister invites UAE Kannadiga investors to boost tourism
Karnataka wants people from its business community in the UAE to invest in the state.
Tourism Minister K J George invited them to help develop tourism and infrastructure.
The invitation was made at a business meeting in Dubai.
Sixty-five business leaders from more than 20 sectors attended.
Officials explained that investors could participate in many kinds of tourism projects.
These included leisure, medical, wellness, spiritual and coastal tourism.
The government said it would help serious investors turn their ideas into projects.

The Dubai meeting brought together 65 business leaders from more than 20 sectors and senior Karnataka government representatives.
Tourism Secretary Ram Prasath Manohar presented opportunities in leisure, medical, wellness, spiritual, coastal and experience-based tourism.
Officials highlighted potential private-sector and public-private partnership projects, along with improvements to air, road and coastal connectivity.
Business leaders expressed interest in pursuing specific investment and tourism opportunities with the Karnataka government.
