Water Conservation Measures Amid El Nino
The water resources minister, Nimmala Ramanaidu, has told officials to use water carefully in the Godavari and Krishna delta areas.
This is because there might not be enough water due to El Nino.
He wants to make sure there is enough water for drinking and for farmers to grow crops.
He also said to clean the canals so water can flow freely.
The minister warned that using too much water for growing rice could cause problems later.
He advised farmers to grow crops that need less water.

Minister cautioned against excessive water use for paddy cultivation in Krishna delta to prevent crop losses and conserve water for future use.
