IIT Madras to Assess Bundelkhand's Water Scheme Impact
IIT Madras and other institutions are studying how a water scheme called 'Har Ghar Jal' is changing lives in rural areas.
This scheme is part of a bigger mission to provide clean drinking water to every household.
Right now, they are checking how well this is working in places like Lucknow and Varanasi.
Soon, they will also look at the Bundelkhand region.
The goal is to see if the scheme is really making a difference in people's daily lives.
IIT Madras will assess the impact of the 'Har Ghar Jal' scheme in Bundelkhand.
The scheme is part of the Jal Jeevan Mission to provide clean drinking water.
Impact assessments are currently underway in 11 divisions, including Lucknow and Varanasi.
Central/state universities and international organizations will assess other regions like Moradabad and Agra.
