Google Changes Play Store Tracking Settings

Google has made a change to how it tracks your activity on the Google Play Store.

Before, there was one setting called Web & App Activity that controlled tracking for everything, including the Play Store.

Now, Google Play has its own separate settings.

This means if you turn off Web & App Activity, it won't affect the Play Store anymore.

You need to check the Play Store settings separately if you want to control what Google tracks there.

Google says this change is to make it easier for users to manage their privacy, but it also means you have to check one more place to make sure your settings are how you want them.

If you care about your privacy, you should go to the Google Play Store app, tap on your profile icon, go to Settings, and then Privacy & Personalisation to adjust your settings.
