Google Updates Veo 3.1 with Vertical Video Support
Google has updated its Veo 3.1 AI model to make it better at creating videos.
Now, it can make videos that are tall and skinny, perfect for watching on your phone.
It also does a better job of keeping characters and scenes looking the same throughout the video.
You can use it to make videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok without having to crop them.
The videos can also be in higher quality, like 4K, but not all platforms support that yet.
This update is available on many Google apps and services.
Google updated Veo 3.1 with vertical video support and improved video generation.
The 'Ingredients to Video' feature now offers better character and scene consistency.
Videos can be generated in a 9:16 aspect ratio for vertical platforms like YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
Enhanced resolution options include 1080p and 4K upscaling.
The update is available across multiple Google platforms, including YouTube Shorts, YouTube Create, and the Gemini app.
