NTR District Collector Inspects Dairy Development Initiatives
Imagine a place where cows can stay safe and sound.
The Collector, like the boss of the area, visited these places called community cattle shelters, which are like cow hotels.
They checked to see if everything was working well and if the cows were happy.
The goal is to help dairy farmers and make more money.
They also want to use cow waste to make good stuff for plants.
The Collector wants farmers to work together and make these shelters even better, like adding food and other things cows need.
They're also fixing the roads so farmers can get around easier.
NTR District Collector inspected community cattle shelters in Jaggaiahpet and Penuganchiprolu mandals.
The Collector directed officials to ensure proper maintenance and functioning of the shelters.
Seven community cattle shelters were constructed in 2018-19 under the Mega Gokulam project.
The Collector suggested organizing dairy farmers into groups and developing shelters into cattle hostels.
The Collector advised utilizing cattle waste for vermi-compost production.
