Prohibitory orders issued near Jharkhand Assembly ahead of Monsoon session
The government in Jharkhand made a new rule to keep the Assembly area safe.
The rule applies to the area around the Jharkhand Assembly building in Ranchi.
It started on August 6 and lasts until August 12.
During this time, groups of five or more people cannot gather there.
Parades, marches, and protests are not allowed in that area.
Loudspeakers are also banned.
This is happening because the Assembly is having its Monsoon session.
Some student groups wanted to protest outside the Assembly on August 7 and 10.
They are unhappy about problems with two exams called JPSC and JSSC.
The rule does not apply to the High Court building.
Prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the BNSS were issued within a 750-metre radius of the Jharkhand Assembly in Ranchi.
The orders are in force from 8 am on August 6 to 10 pm on August 12, covering the Monsoon session.
Gatherings of five or more people, processions, marches, sit-ins, rallies, demonstrations, and use of sound-amplifying devices are banned.
