Swat Valley Suicide Bombing Claims Dozens at Anti-Militant Rally
A group of people in a town called Kabal in Pakistan were having a meeting to ask the government to stop the bad people who hurt people.
A man who was a bomber ran into the crowd and exploded.
This made many people hurt and some died.
The president and the prime minister said they were sad and promised to keep fighting the bad people.
Nobody said they did it, but the police think a group called the TTP might be behind it.
This is part of a bigger problem in Pakistan where many attacks have happened this year.
A suicide bomber detonated at an anti‑militant rally in Kabal, Swat district, killing at least 14–19 people and injuring over 24.
The rally, organized by local residents, protested the resurgence of militant groups and demanded stronger security measures.
Pakistani leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, condemned the attack and pledged continued counter‑terrorism efforts.
No group claimed responsibility, but authorities suspect the Tehrik‑e‑Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is behind the attack.
The incident follows a rise in terrorism‑related incidents in Pakistan, with 3,145 attacks recorded since January 2026.
