Amritsar: Man Arrested, 6 Kg Heroin Recovered
The Punjab police arrested Shankar Singh in Amritsar and seized over six kilograms of heroin from him.
Along with the drugs, they also found four lakhs of rupees in cash.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Singh was in contact with smugglers based abroad.
The police are investigating the full extent of the drug network, including who supplied the drugs and who they were meant for.
