Madhya Pradesh Reports 598 Malaria Cases Through July

Madhya Pradesh reported 598 malaria cases in the seven months through July.

Balaghat had the most cases, with 174.

Chhindwara had 67 cases.

Sheopur and Dindori each had 38 cases.

In July alone, the state recorded 248 cases.

Balaghat accounted for 102 of those July cases.

This means some districts have a much higher malaria risk than others.

Health officials said they are working to stop outbreaks.

They also said testing, treatment and mosquito-control measures have helped keep malaria under control in recent years.
