Telangana Focuses on Heritage and Tourism
The government of Telangana is working on two big projects.
First, they are fixing up and making beautiful 25 old and important buildings and places.
They will show these places to people from all over the world at a big meeting on January 16 in Hyderabad.
The government wants to get money from these people to help take care of the buildings for a long time.
Some of the places include old temples, forts, and even a college.
They want everyone to feel like these places belong to them and take care of them.
Second, they are also working on making the Medaram Jatara festival better by building new roads and facilities.
They are spending a lot of money to make sure the festival is big and nice.
They also want to make Telangana a great place for tourists, like Kerala, by building new places for people to visit and have fun.
25 heritage sites in Telangana identified for restoration and beautification.
Sites to be showcased at the 60th World Monuments Fund conference on January 16 in Hyderabad.
Proposals with detailed estimates prepared for international stakeholders to seek funds for long-term preservation and maintenance.
Modernization works for Medaram Jatara, including stone structures and four-lane roads, costing over Rs 200 crore, with 95% completion.
