Centre Unveils 23-Point Action Plan for Viksit Bharat 2047

The Indian government has created a 23-point plan for making India a developed country by 2047.

It wants ordinary people, especially young people, to help achieve this goal.

Schools and colleges may get more sports activities, and the government wants to prevent drug abuse among young people.

Students could receive more practical job training and mentorship from senior citizens and engineering students.

Training may also be matched to jobs available in other countries.

Agricultural education would be updated to suit different regions, and farmers could earn additional income from solar panels.

The government also wants to use more Indian-made digital and artificial-intelligence platforms to protect its data.

It plans to improve industries, government skills and cooperation between ministries.

Cabinet Secretary T V Somanathan asked government secretaries to begin work on these priorities.
