PVR INOX Slashes Ticket Prices After GST Revision
PVR INOX, a big movie theater company, is lowering the price of its Blockbuster Tuesday tickets to Rs 95.
This change starts on September 23rd.
The price cut is happening because the government changed the tax rules for movie tickets that cost Rs 100 or less, making them cheaper to tax.
The company is hoping this price cut will bring more people back to the movies, especially with the start of the Navratri festival and many new movies coming out.
PVR INOX also hopes to make going to the movies a regular thing for people again.
PVR INOX reduced Blockbuster Tuesday ticket prices to Rs 95.
The price cut follows a GST reduction for tickets priced Rs 100 or less.
The new price took effect on September 23.
The initiative coincides with the Navratri festival and new movie releases.
PVR INOX is trying to increase cinema attendance.
