About 16 national leaders are expected to attend.

More than 15,000 Delhi Police officers and nearly 200 companies of central security forces will help protect them.

Police are watching the summit building and the roads used by visiting groups.

They are also checking CCTV cameras and social media for possible problems.

Officers are preparing for sudden protests.

Officials have practised emergency drills and installed equipment to detect threats.

Neighbouring states may also provide security if guests make unexpected trips.
