Telangana BJP Chief Alleges House Arrest, Attacks Congress Education Policies

Telangana BJP leader N. Ramchander Rao said police stopped him from visiting protesting polytechnic students.

He said this happened at his home in Tarnaka.

The students are upset about a government order called GO 97 and a plan involving Young India Skills University.

Rao said these changes could hurt technical education and the way students enter engineering courses.

He also claimed that college land might be given to real estate developers, but the articles do not prove this claim.

The government has created a committee to study the proposed merger.

Rao also spoke about unpaid scholarships, delayed fee refunds and low stipends.

He said the BJP would continue supporting the students until their concerns are addressed.
