TVS Launches Doctor Doom Edition of Raider 125 Motorcycle
TVS Motor Company, an Indian bike maker, just made a new version of its Raider 125 motorcycle that looks like the comic book villain Doctor Doom.
The bike costs about 95,000 rupees, which is the same price as the regular Raider 125.
The only difference is the paint and stickers; the engine and parts are exactly the same.
TVS already sells a lot of Marvel-themed bikes, like Iron Man and Black Panther versions, and has sold more than half a million of them.
This new Doctor Doom bike is part of that popular strategy to use famous comic characters to sell more bikes.
TVS released a Doctor Doom-inspired Raider 125 edition priced at Rs 95,320 ex-showroom.
The new variant adds to the brand’s Marvel Super Squad lineup, which already features Iron Man, Black Panther, Deadpool, and Wolverine models.
The mechanical specifications remain identical to the standard Raider 125; the edition is purely cosmetic.
TVS reports over 500,000 cumulative sales of its Marvel-themed Raider 125 and NTorq models, indicating sustained demand.
The launch underscores TVS’s strategy of leveraging popular franchises for motorcycle marketing.
