Second Modi Express Train Eases Ganeshotsav Travel To Konkan
Many people travel from Mumbai to Konkan during Ganeshotsav to celebrate with their families.
This creates a very busy travel period.
Nitesh Rane helped organize a special train called the Modi Express.
The second train left Dadar Railway Station on September 13, 2026.
The first train had left two days earlier.
The trains are described as free services for people travelling to their hometowns.
Families, children, and older people were shown boarding the train.
Rane said the service was meant to help Konkan residents and devotees travel more easily.

Rane said earlier efforts included arranging 100 buses and that the group had served Konkan people for 14 years.
