BSF Kills Intruder Amid J&K Terrorist Encounter
The Border Security Force (BSF) shot and killed a person trying to sneak into India from Pakistan near the border in Samba.
This happened at night, and the person ignored warnings before being shot.
At the same time, in the forests of Kishtwar, soldiers and police were fighting with terrorists from a group called Jaish-e-Mohammad.
These terrorists had escaped before but were now trapped by the security forces.
The area is on high alert because of increased terrorist activity and the upcoming Republic Day celebration.
The soldiers are using drones, dogs, and extra troops to make sure the terrorists don't escape.
The terrorists have been involved in three encounters over the past week, with the latest one happening late Sunday night.
BSF troops shot and killed a Pakistani intruder near the Mangu Chak border outpost in Samba’s Ramgarh sector.
The intruder ignored repeated warnings and advanced toward the fence under the cover of darkness.
A fresh encounter broke out between security forces and Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists in Kishtwar’s Janseer-Kandiwar forest area late Sunday night.
This marks the third encounter in the Chatroo belt of Kishtwar over the past week, involving three Pakistani terrorists.
A soldier from the Special Forces was martyred, and 7 others were injured during the initial encounter on January 18.
