UP to Plant Millions of Saplings Along Roadsides for Van Mahotsav
The Uttar Pradesh government is planting lots of trees!
From July 1st to 7th, they're planting over a hundred million trees along the roads.
They're also planting trees near highways.
They are doing this as part of a bigger plan to plant 35 crore trees.
All the preparations are finished and are ready to go.
This will help make the state greener and healthier.
It's all part of a plan to improve the environment.
Uttar Pradesh Forest Department to plant 1.14 crore saplings along roadsides during Van Mahotsav.
The plantation drive is scheduled from July 1 to 7.
UPEIDA will plant 2.5 lakh saplings along expressways.
A total of 52.43 crore saplings have been prepared in 2,586 nurseries across the state.
The initiative is part of the state's target of planting 35 crore trees in 2025.
