Many people were happy about this because they want safe food.

When Mr Mundhe walked onto a stage at an event in Pune, everyone stood up and clapped for a long time.

People filmed the moment with their phones, and the videos spread quickly on social media.

Mr Mundhe grew up on a farm, worked hard, and became a top government officer.

He is known as the "Waterman of Maharashtra" because he helped save water in the city of Solapur.

His team also started checking factories that make Ayurvedic medicines.

Some people think he is too strict, but many others believe he is doing a great job.
