Goregaon Interfaith Dialogue Urges Collective Action For Social Justice

People from different religions met in Goregaon to talk about fairness and equality.

The Bombay Catholic Sabha organized the meeting.

They said people should work together peacefully to help communities facing unfair treatment.

Speakers discussed caste discrimination and the rights promised by the Constitution.

They also talked about religious freedom and the rights of marginalized people.

The group opposed forcing anyone to change religion.

At the same time, it supported each person’s right to choose and practise a faith.

The meeting also included planting trees in honor of St Francis of Assisi.
