GITAM Observes World Mental Health Day with Month-Long Awareness Program
Imagine a big school called GITAM wanted to help everyone feel happier and less stressed.
So, for a whole month, they had special activities.
They had workshops where people learned about taking care of their minds.
They also had a cool art show with posters made by students showing why it's important to be mentally healthy.
Lots of fun events were organized by the students too!
It all started around World Mental Health Day to remind everyone that their feelings matter and it's okay to talk about them.
GITAM organized a month-long mental health awareness program in Visakhapatnam.
The program included various events and workshops focused on de-stressing and improving mental well-being.
It commenced on October 1, aligning with the 'International Day for Older Persons'.
A handmade poster exhibition on mental health issues was held at the GSHSS premises.
As many as 22 student-led events were conducted as part of the initiative.
