Many government schools in Rajasthan need safer and better buildings.

The Rajasthan government has announced a three-year plan costing about Rs 12,500 crore.
This plan would build new schools and classrooms and repair many existing schools.

The Government of Rajasthan has prepared a Rs 12,500-crore infrastructure roadmap for financial years 2026-27 to 2028-29.
The plan includes 3,587 new school buildings, 83,783 classrooms, repairs at 22,589 schools and 13,616 toilet blocks.
The government also plans around Rs 1,087 crore for digital facilities, including smart classrooms, tablets and ICT labs, by December 2026.
