Delhi Faces Hazardous Air Quality
Delhi is having a very cold November, with temperatures dropping to the lowest in five years.
The air quality is also very bad, reaching hazardous levels.
The city's air quality index (AQI) is 327, which is in the 'very poor' category.
Some areas like Shadipur and RK Puram have even worse air quality.
The cold weather and a storm called Ditwah are making the air stay still, which is not helping the pollution.
The government is trying to do something about it, but people are still worried about their health.
Some politicians are also criticizing the government for not handling the pollution well.
Delhi recorded its coldest November in five years with an average minimum temperature of 11.5°C.
The air quality remained hazardous with an AQI of 327, placing the city in the 'very poor' category.
Shadipur recorded the highest pollution levels at 336, followed by RK Puram at 308.
The cold temperatures and stagnant air conditions due to cyclonic storm Ditwah are contributing to the poor air quality.
The Delhi government is monitoring pollution levels and taking steps to curb pollution, but political criticism persists.
