UP Govt Empowers Tribal Women via Natural Bio-Economy Model
In Uttar Pradesh, the government has started a program called the Natural Bio-Economy Model to help tribal women.
These women are making herbal soaps using goat's milk and natural ingredients like neem and turmeric.
They sell these soaps and earn extra money, which helps their families.
The government provides training and support to these women through the National Rural Livelihood Mission.
This program not only helps the women but also promotes the use of natural products and supports the local economy.
The Uttar Pradesh government's Natural Bio-Economy Model empowers tribal women by converting local resources into value-added products.
Women in the Bajrangbali Self-Help Group produce herbal soaps using goat's milk and natural ingredients like neem and turmeric.
These soaps are sold in distant markets, with monthly sales ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000.
Each woman earns an additional income of Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month, improving their families' financial conditions.
