Harish Rao Questions Revanth Reddy Silence Over Veligonda Water Diversion

T. Harish Rao says Andhra Pradesh is taking Krishna River water through a project called Veligonda.

He says Andhra Pradesh describes the water as floodwater.

Harish Rao argues that there is no clear allocation for these flood flows.

He says the water is needed by farmers in parts of Telangana.

He also says several Telangana irrigation projects do not have enough water.

Harish Rao wants Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to explain the government’s response.

He also questioned why the Krishna River Management Board has not stopped or addressed the alleged diversion.

The article does not include responses from the chief minister, Andhra Pradesh or the board.
