TGCSB Arrests Two Over Mule Accounts In Khammam Cyber Fraud

Police in Telangana are trying to stop people who lend their bank accounts to criminals.

These accounts are called mule accounts because they move money for someone else.

Two people, Badisa Murali Krishna and Vadlamudi Sainivas, were arrested in Khammam.

Investigators said they provided 10 such accounts.

Police checked banks, ATMs, and other locations across the district.

They found 121 suspected mule accounts and many other linked accounts.

The accounts were connected to cybercrime cases in Telangana and elsewhere in India.

Investigators identified transactions totaling Rs 7.84 crore, with Rs 6.23 crore disputed.

The operation resulted in 25 new FIRs across eight police stations.
