MCC Releases NEET SS Round 2 Clear, Virtual Vacancy Lists
Doctors who want to learn very special kinds of medicine take a big test called NEET SS.
After the test, a group called the Medical Counselling Committee, or MCC, helps match doctors with colleges.
The MCC has shared two lists of open seats for the second round of admission.
One list, the clear vacancy list, has 2,423 seats that are truly empty because doctors did not join or gave up their seats.
The other list, the virtual vacancy list, has 5,605 seats that might become available during the counselling process.
Doctors who want a seat must sign up on the official website mcc.nic.in.
The last day to register is August 10, 2026.
The results showing who gets each seat will come out on August 13, 2026.
Selected doctors must then report to their new college between August 14 and August 20, 2026.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the NEET SS Counselling 2025 Round 2 clear vacancy list covering 2,423 super-speciality seats.
The MCC also released a separate virtual vacancy list for Round 2, covering 5,605 seats across DM, M.Ch., and DNB SS courses at participating institutes across India.
Clear vacancies include 1,515 DM/M.Ch. and 908 DrNB SS seats; virtual vacancies include 3,243 DM/M.Ch. and 2,362 DNB SS seats.
Registration and choice filling are open on the official website mcc.nic.in, with registration closing on August 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
The seat allotment result will be released on August 13, 2026, with reporting at allotted colleges from August 14 to August 20, 2026.
