Telangana: Nine Political Parties Delisted by Election Commission
Imagine there are many clubs (political parties) in Telangana.
Some clubs don't follow the rules set by the Election Commission.
The Election Commission, the group that makes sure things are fair in elections, has kicked out nine of these rule-breaking clubs.
These clubs weren't following the rules of the Representation of the People Act, which means they couldn't stay as registered parties.
The government wants everything to be transparent and fair in the democratic process.
Nine unrecognised political parties (RUPPs) in Telangana were delisted.
The delisting was directed by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Parties were delisted for failing to meet compliance requirements.
The Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) announced the decision.
Local officials have been informed for follow-up action.
