Renault Resumes Sri Lanka Exports With Three Models

Renault has started sending cars from India to Sri Lanka again.

The company had stopped exporting there for some time.

Its first shipment had 100 cars.

The cars were sent from Renault’s plant in Chennai on September 18.

The shipment included the Triber, Kwid and Kiger.

This brings Renault’s export reach to 16 countries.

Renault may add the new Duster later.

The company says the restart shows renewed confidence in India as a place to build and export cars.
