Ram Temple Enhances Security for August Festivals
The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is getting ready for big changes in security and how people can visit during the Kanwar Yatra and Sawan Jhula Mela in August.
The temple expects a lot of visitors, so they might need passes to enter.
There will be more cameras, police, and other safety measures.
If too many people come, they might stop visits to some smaller temples and only let people in with passes.
The temple can handle about 2 lakh visitors each day, but if more come, they will manage the crowds in stages.
Ram Temple in Ayodhya is preparing for major security changes ahead of Kanwar Yatra and Sawan Jhula Mela in August.
Entry without a pass may be prohibited from August 8-11 and August 23-28.
Darshan at six sub-temples may be temporarily stopped if the crowd becomes too large.
The temple expects 10 to 15 lakh devotees during the Sawan festival.
Security measures include increased CCTV, public address systems, additional police force, and strengthened security at major temples and Saryu ghats.
