AAP Town Hall Claims 7 Lakh Live Viewers Over E20 Fuel Debate
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a big online meeting about a new type of petrol called E20.
They said more than 7 lakh people watched it live on YouTube.
The meeting was held in a club in Delhi and had many people like mechanics and drivers talking about how E20 might affect their cars.
AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal asked the government to let people choose between regular petrol and E20, to make E20 cheaper, and to keep petrol prices below ₹84 per litre.
AAP also compared their viewership to the Prime Minister’s YouTube channel, which had only about 3,300 viewers, and said this shows many people care about the fuel issue.
AAP claims its National Town Hall Against E20 drew 7,00,262 live viewers on YouTube.
The event was held at Delhi's Constitution Club and featured vehicle owners, mechanics, and other citizens discussing E20 fuel concerns.
Kejriwal demanded separate petrol and E20 options, lower E20 prices, and overall petrol prices below ₹84 per litre.
AAP compared the viewership to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's channel, which had 3,324 concurrent viewers, sparking social media debate.
The party called the town hall the "world's largest digital rally" focused on a public policy issue.
