CM Yogi Announces Sports Colleges in UP
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the government will build sports colleges at every divisional headquarters in Uttar Pradesh.
He also talked about plans to develop playgrounds in every village, mini stadiums in every block, and large stadiums in every district.
This announcement was made during an award ceremony for a sports competition.
The government is also working on building new sports facilities, like an international stadium in Gorakhpur and a sports university in Meerut.
The Chief Minister said that sports are important for a healthy body and a strong nation.
He also mentioned plans to include more people, like working professionals and retired citizens, in future sports competitions.
Additionally, there will be cultural competitions in January.
