Skeet Teams Win Two Bronze Medals for India
India won two bronze medals in skeet shooting at the Asian Games.
One medal came from the women’s team, and the other came from the men’s team.
The women’s team included Parinaaz Dhaliwal, Raiza Dhillon and Maheshwari Chauhan.
Their medal was India’s first-ever Asian Games medal in skeet shooting.
The men’s team included Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Mairaj Ahmad Khan and Bhavtegh Singh Gill.
Raiza and Anantjeet also narrowly missed individual medals by finishing fourth.
India had expected strong results in the 10m air pistol event.
However, Manu Bhaker finished fifth, while Esha Singh and Suruchi Inder Singh did not reach the final.
