The Reserve Bank of India said the fund should be run better, especially how it keeps track of money and chooses where to invest.
So EPFO is teaching its staff new skills with help from the World Bank, CFA Institute, and Crisil.
It also set up a special committee, approved by the Labour Minister, to guide investment decisions.
