Trump's Southeast Asia Trade Deals Focus on Minerals

President Trump made trade deals with Southeast Asian countries to increase trade and get access to important materials called rare earths, which are needed for technology.

Agreements were made with Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

These include buying planes and establishing trade rules.

The US is also trying to reduce China's dominance in the rare earths market.

Details like tariffs on certain goods, especially those from China, are still being worked out, presenting challenges for some industries.
