Rockstar Grants Early GTA 6 Access to Terminally Ill Fan
A very sick fan who loves the Grand Theft Auto games found out he might not live long enough to play the new game, GTA 6, when it comes out in 2026.
His family asked the game's makers, Rockstar Games, if he could play it early.
Lots of people on the internet supported this idea.
Rockstar, which usually keeps its games secret, decided to let the fan play GTA 6 before it comes out.
This is similar to what they did for another sick fan in 2018 with their game Red Dead Redemption 2.
GTA 6 is set in a place like Florida and will let players control two characters named Jason and Lucia.
It will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in November 2026, with a PC version coming later.
A terminally ill Grand Theft Auto fan received early access to GTA 6 from Rockstar Games.
The fan's relative, Anthony Armstrong, posted a plea on LinkedIn, which went viral.
Rockstar Games, known for strict secrecy, arranged a private early gameplay session for the fan.
GTA 6 is set to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The game features a modern-day Vice City-inspired setting and two main characters, Jason and Lucia.
