NBC Orders Pilot for PI Comedy
Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, who worked on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, have created a new comedy show about private detectives.
NBC has decided to make a pilot episode.
The show is set in Los Angeles, and the creators got a special tax break to help pay for filming.
This is one of four new shows NBC is testing this week.
The show is a workplace comedy, meaning it's about people working together in a fun and sometimes silly way.
It's part of a group of shows NBC is making to see which ones people like the most.
NBC has ordered a pilot for a single-camera comedy about private detectives created by Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici.
The project was bought by NBC last fall with a pilot production commitment.
The comedy received a $1.4 million tax credit to shoot the pilot in Los Angeles.
It is one of four pilot pickups by NBC this week, including three dramas.
The half-hour workplace comedy is set in the world of private detectives and continues the tradition of Los Angeles private eyes.
