Indore’s Nehru Park Pool Reopens After ₹4.07 Crore Upgrade

Nehru Park’s swimming pool in Indore has reopened after a major makeover.

The work cost about ₹4.07 crore.

Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav and MLA Mahendra Hardia opened it by swimming there.

The pool now has a new building and water-cleaning equipment.

It also has a diving tower, changing rooms, showers, and a medical room.

The mayor said the pool would keep training swimmers.

He said many past swimmers went on to compete nationally and internationally.

A gym and badminton area are also being developed.

An official suggested setting aside swimming times for women and reviewing the fees.
