India's K-6 Hypersonic Missile Nears Sea Trials
India is creating a super-fast missile called K-6 that can travel at speeds over 9,200 kilometers per hour.
It will launch from new submarines and can hit targets far away, even evading defenses.
This missile can carry different types of weapons and hit multiple targets at once.
It's a big upgrade from older missiles, and when it's ready, India will be one of the few countries with this advanced technology, like the US, Russia, China, France, and the UK.
India is developing the K-6 hypersonic missile, designed to launch from S-5 class nuclear submarines.
The K-6 missile will have a hypersonic speed of Mach 7.5 or more than 9,200 kilometers per hour.
It will feature MIRV technology, enabling it to strike multiple targets.
The missile is designed to carry both nuclear and conventional warheads.
When operational, India will join an elite group of countries with hypersonic capabilities.
