Baloch Leader Accuses Punjab of Development Built on Blood
A leader from Balochistan, Tara Chand, said that the development in Punjab, a province in Pakistan, is built on the suffering of the people in Balochistan.
He mentioned that Punjab has taken Balochistan's natural gas, minerals, and other resources to grow, while Balochistan remains poor and neglected.
Chand said that the people of Balochistan have no food, water, schools, or healthcare, and they face a lot of hardships.
He also said that the development in Punjab is funded by China.
Chand accused the Pakistani authorities of exploiting and discriminating against the Baloch people and said that the Baloch nation will continue to fight against this injustice.
Tara Chand, President of Baloch American Congress, accused Punjab's Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif of building Punjab's development on the exploitation of Balochistan's resources.
Chand claimed that Punjab has taken Balochistan's natural gas, minerals, gold, land, coastline, and marine resources to enrich itself, leaving Balochistan neglected.
He alleged that the people of Balochistan lack basic necessities like food, water, schools, electricity, healthcare, and opportunities, facing unemployment, destruction, and despair.
Chand asserted that the development in Punjab is funded by China under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He accused the Punjabi-dominated Pakistani state of committing genocide against the Baloch nation and said that the Baloch people will never forgive those responsible.
