Centre Approves 22-Day Bonus for Defence Civilian Employees
The Indian government has approved a 22-day bonus for certain civilian employees in the Defence Ministry.
This bonus is called a Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) and is for employees who worked in the Corps of EME during the year 2024–25.
The employees who will get this bonus are from Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted) and Group 'C'.
The bonus is based on how well the Corps of EME did in their work.
The money for this bonus will come from the Defence Ministry's budget for the year 2025–26.
The government usually announces such bonuses around Diwali to help employees during the festive season, but this announcement came a bit later.
The bonus will be calculated based on a set formula and a maximum limit of Rs 7,000.
