Trump Claims Near-Total Surveillance as Iran Clashes Escalate

The United States and Iran have exchanged new attacks.

President Donald Trump said the United States can closely watch Iran and could attack again whenever it chooses.

He also said American forces destroyed equipment Iran was building near the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran said the US attacks hit places along its southern coast, including a wedding party.

The reported exchange killed at least 18 people and wounded about 108 others in Iran.

Iran then attacked US military bases in several nearby countries.

Both sides are making threats, so the fighting has not been resolved.

The United States is also threatening economic sanctions against countries that trade with Iran.
