Income Tax Compliance Deadlines Approaching on May 30
Hey everyone, it's tax time!
By May 30th, if you have a business office from another country, you need to tell the government what it did.
Also, if you took taxes out of people's paychecks or from things like rent or selling digital stuff in April, you have to report that too.
If you sold something and collected tax, you must give a certificate to the buyer.
The government has opened the door for filing your taxes.
If you get a salary, you might want to wait a bit until your employer gives you a form with all the details, so you can fill everything correctly.
May 30 is the deadline for key income tax compliance.
Non-residents with liaison offices must submit Form 49C.
Deductors must file the challan-cum-statement for April.
TCS certificates for the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25 are due.
ITR filing for FY 2024-25 is open, but salaried individuals may wait for Form 16.
