Noida Builds Factory Complexes to Boost MSMEs and Startups
Imagine buildings like apartment complexes, but for factories!
These "flatted factories" are being built in Noida to help small businesses and startups.
They'll offer affordable spaces with shared elevators for goods, making it easier to start a business without buying expensive land.
The Noida Authority is building these near the Yamuna Expressway, with the first one in Sector 28 for medical device companies.
There will be facilities like hostels and skill centers.
The Authority plans to lease the spaces, not sell them, to help new businesses even more.
These factories will support industries such as electronics, apparel, IT, data, and semiconductors.
Eleven flatted factory complexes are planned along the Yamuna Expressway.
These complexes are designed for various industrial parks, including medical devices and semiconductors.
The buildings will offer approximately 3,000 affordable industrial spaces for MSMEs and startups.
The Noida Authority will lease, not sell, the units to ease the burden on emerging businesses.
Seventy-five percent of the units are reserved for MSMEs and 25% for startups.
