West Bengal Portals Win National Awards
The West Bengal government has two special websites that won awards.
One is called Anumodan, which helps people get permits easily.
The other is BanglaSiksha 3.0, which makes school activities like getting report cards and transfer certificates much simpler.
The Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, is very happy about these awards.
The Anumodan website helps with government services, and the BanglaSiksha website keeps all school information in one place.
This makes it easy for teachers, parents, and students to access important details.
The awards were given at a big event called the Governance Now 6th Digital Transformation Summit and Awards.
Anumodan portal received the Digital and Public Infrastructure Award for its effective use of technology in public service delivery.
BanglaSiksha 3.0 portal won an award for excellence in e-learning, assessment, and digital education platforms.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her happiness on X (formerly Twitter) about the recognitions.
BanglaSiksha portal centralizes student data, making it convenient for school administration, guardians, and students.
The portals were developed under the aegis of the Department of IT & E and the Department of School Education.
