Yemen Displacement Grows as Houthis Advance Along Red Sea

Fighting in Yemen is forcing many families to leave their homes.

The Houthis have advanced along the country’s Red Sea coast.

Many people have fled to temporary camps in Taiz province.

Some parents and children have been separated because roads are blocked or dangerous.

Aid officials say more than 82,000 people have been displaced since September began.

Yemen was already suffering from years of war and poverty.

The fighting is also happening near a sea passage important for ships carrying oil and goods.

Displaced families say they mainly want safety, stability, and a basic livelihood.
