NVIDIA Unveils DLSS 4.5 at CES 2026
NVIDIA announced a new version of their DLSS technology called DLSS 4.5 at a big tech event called CES in 2026.
This new version uses AI to make games run smoother and faster on their RTX 50 series graphics cards.
It can make games run up to 6 times faster, which means you can play games at very high speeds without any lag.
The new technology also makes the pictures in games look better by improving the lighting and making the edges of objects sharper.
It works on all RTX graphics cards from the 20 series to the 50 series and supports over 400 games.
A special feature called Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation will be available in the spring and will be exclusive to the RTX 50 series.
This feature can create extra frames to make the game run even smoother.
When combined with another NVIDIA technology called Reflex, it can make 4K games run up to 35% faster while also reducing the delay between your actions and what you see on the screen.
In games that use a lot of lighting effects, DLSS 4.5 can automatically increase the frame rate to keep the game running smoothly, even in busy scenes.
NVIDIA announced DLSS 4.5 at CES 2026, featuring AI-powered Deep Learning Super Sampling technology.
DLSS 4.5 offers a 6X frame boost for RTX 50 series GPUs, enabling smoother 240+ FPS path-traced gaming.
Super Resolution in DLSS 4.5 uses five times the compute power of the previous version for better lighting, edges, and motion clarity.
Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation at 6X will be available in the spring, exclusive to RTX 50 Series in over 250 titles.
DLSS 4.5 can increase 4K path-traced performance by up to 35% and reduce latency when combined with NVIDIA Reflex.
