Majithia Seeks Central Probe Into LPU Student Agitation
Bikram Singh Majithia has made allegations about a recent protest at Lovely Professional University.
He says students may have been used in a political dispute.
He connected the dispute to Ashok Mittal joining the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Majithia also claimed that people from Delhi were brought in to stir the protest.
He questioned why police detained and later released some people.
He said videos appeared to show people carrying walkie-talkies, bats and weapons.
These claims were made by Majithia and are not independently confirmed in the article.
He wants a central agency to investigate what happened.
SAD General Secretary Bikram Singh Majithia accused political leaders of using LPU students as “pawns for revenge.”

Majithia said videos showed people carrying walkie-talkies, bats and weapons, though the article provides no independent verification.
He sought a central investigation, citing possible effects on students, employees and Punjab’s investment climate.
