Father and Uncle Drown Saving Six-Year-Old in Canal
A family visited a canal in Ramapuram village on Thursday.
The family included a father named Afroz, his six-year-old son Arish, and Afroz’s brother-in-law Asif.
Arish accidentally fell into the canal.
His father and uncle jumped into the water to try to save him.
A strong flow of water swept all three away.
Officials reduced the water flow and sent rescue workers, fire personnel, and NDRF teams.
Rescuers found Arish’s body, but were still searching for the two adults.
